The Art of Roman Muradov

— feature

Roman Muradov is an Armenian artist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker and the New Statesman, and on book covers from Penguin Random House and Knopf. He currently serves as Art Director at Notion.

During our Platypus Press days, Roman collaborated with us on the cover images for the first two years of our Shorts fiction series. (A few examples appear below.) We’ve always been grateful and wanted to celebrate his distinctive and evocative aesthetic in this celebratory issue of wildness.
